The Inn At Rancho Santa Fe, Rancho Santa Fe

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although spacious, had a dark and unpleasant color scheme, but the comfort of the bed and the private patio deck were great. The service was a bit lacking with defensive communication from one staff member, although the others were charming. The location had a beautiful setting with lovely views, but the cold indoors due to open doors was a downside. The dining experience was delicious but fell short given the high room price. The facilities were adequate.

Staying in the lovely Garden Cottage was a delightful experience with a spacious layout, real wood fireplace, and a convenient sitting table for games. However, the advertised expectations were not met, and there were some issues with the wheelchair access. The presence of two bathrooms was a unique and appreciated feature during our stay.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The cottage suite was very nice with a sort-of-renovated feel and a large layout, complete with a fireplace that I unfortunately didn't get to test out. I particularly loved the expansive bathrooms and private patios, as well as the wheelchair-friendly corridor that made moving around the suite effortless, especially with the convenience of having two bathrooms available for simultaneous use.
